What is Alma Hybrid?
Alma Hybrid is a laser resurfacing platform from Alma that combines two wavelengths in one system. The first is a 10,600 nm CO2 laser, which is ablative: it works on the surface of the skin, with a coagulating, heating effect around each treated point. The second is a 1570 nm fiber laser, which is non-ablative: it delivers heat deeper into the dermis to promote new collagen while leaving the surface of the skin intact.
